The Executive Chairman, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo said that a police station will be built at the site of a collapsed building, at the Egbelu Mbaraja axis of Ogbogoro Community.
Ihunwo who disclosed this during an on the spot inspection of the collapsed building on Tuesday, explained that the decision is to provide security to the people of the area.
Interacting with newsmen, he revealed that the agreement was reached with the State Commissioner for Ministry of Urban Development, Hon. Evans Bipi.
Recall that the building collapsed which occurred on Monday claimed one life with another victim reportedly in a critical condition after sustaining severe injuries.
