It was a moment of pride and celebration for the Anyaso family and the entire Abia State as the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree on Elder, Barr. Mrs. Ngozi Ekeoma in recognition of her outstanding contributions, exemplary leadership, and distinguished service.
In a congratulatory message, Dr. Chimaobi D. Anyaso, OFUJI, described the honour as well deserved, praising Mrs. Ekeoma for her consistent record of excellence, grace, and trailblazing achievements that continue to inspire many within and beyond the state.
Dr. Anyaso also commended the Vice-Chancellor of FUTO, Professor Nnenna Oti, for identifying and honouring Mrs. Ekeoma’s remarkable accomplishments. He further acknowledged Professor Oti’s exemplary leadership and integrity, particularly her widely praised role as Returning Officer during the last Abia State governorship election.
According to him, the recognition reflects the values of leadership, integrity, and excellence, noting that such virtues deserve to be celebrated and upheld.
He further extended warm felicitation to both Mrs. Ngozi Ekeoma and Professor Nnenna Oti, describing the occasion as a proud moment for Abia State and a testament to the impact of dedicated service.
