Lawmaker Obianyi Congratulates Azubuike on Emergence as Abia Labour Party Chairman
The Member representing Ukwa East State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lewis Obianyi, has congratulated Mr. Peter Azubuike on his emergence as the Chairman of the Labour Party in Abia State.
In a congratulatory message, Obianyi also extended his felicitations to Hon. Elvis Wabara, the party’s Financial Secretary, as well as other members of the newly elected state executive, describing their emergence as a testament to their capacity and commitment to the growth of the party.
The lawmaker further congratulated Chief Moses Okpoko, Chairman of the Labour Party in Ukwa East, alongside his executive members and ward chairmen, commending their roles in strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots level.
Obianyi noted that the new leadership reflects a capacity-driven approach and a shared commitment to advancing the Labour Party’s fortunes in the state, particularly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the new executives to reposition the party for unity, stability, and electoral success, including the re-election of the Abia State Governor and other Labour Party candidates.
The lawmaker assured the party leadership of his full support, pledging to work collaboratively to promote growth, cohesion, and progress within the party.
