The All Progressives Congress (APC) Abia State chapter, has congratulated candidates who emerged victorious in the party’s governorship and National Assembly primary elections, expressing confidence in their ability to lead the party to victory in the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Uche Aguoru, the party described the emergence of the candidates as a reflection of the confidence party members have in their leadership qualities, dedication to service and commitment to the ideals of the APC.
The party commended the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for conducting what it described as a transparent, credible and fair primary election that gave all aspirants equal opportunity to participate.
According to the statement, the successful conduct of the primaries has further strengthened the party’s resolve to take over governance at all levels in Abia State.
The APC appealed to aspirants who did not secure the party’s ticket to remain loyal, embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and support the party’s candidates in the collective quest for victory in the 2027 polls.
“There are no losers in the APC family. The task before us is to remain united and work together with determination to secure victory for our great party across all levels in Abia State,” the statement read.
The party also expressed appreciation to its members and supporters across the state for their steadfast commitment, sacrifices and continued loyalty, assuring them that their support would help build a stronger and more united APC.
It wished all its candidates successful campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections.
