As part of his consultation series for his chairmanship bid in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Dr. Kingsley Ogu and his entourage recently visited the palace of Eze (Dr.) A.N. Osoh, Eze Ali Usomini of Ogba Land, at Obrikom.

This royal visit demonstrated Dr. Ogu’s firm belief in and respect for traditional authority, taking place just before his scheduled Town Hall meeting at Obie Town Hall.

During the visit, Dr. Ogu informed Eze and the council of chiefs that the women and youths have called on him to run for the Chairmanship position in the upcoming LGA election. He is on a tour to assess the needs of the people, focusing on revolutionary improvements in education, healthcare, and agriculture to create employment opportunities, which will inform his decisions regarding the Call of ONELGA people.

Eze Ali Usomini of Ogba Land acknowledged Dr. Ogu’s contributions to community development and praised his exemplary leadership qualities. He described Dr. Ogu as a shining star with a bright future and encouraged the youth to emulate his diligence, courage, and entrepreneurial spirit for a greater Ogba kingdom.

Eze A.N. Osoh stated, “On behalf of my council, I thank you for your foresight in development. There are people hoarding progress, but development should not be hoarded. I am very glad to have someone like you in Ogba Land.”

The royal father further bestowed his blessings on Dr. Ogu for being the first aspirant to pay homage to his stool. He added, “You are useful to Ogba people and beyond. Your future is bright, and you are already showing it. We wish you well and pray for your success so that the people can benefit from your leadership.”
