Gov Fubara Moves To Revive Port Harcourt Tourists Beach
Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has restated his administration resolve to revive the moribund Port-Harcourt tourist beach.
Fubara assured of restoring the glory of Port Harcourt tourists beach to a modern tourists center in order to revive the tourism potentials of the State.
He disclosed this known to newsmen shortly after inspection of the Port Harcourt Tourists Beach in Old Port Harcourt Township on Tuesday.
Gov Fubara who noted that the part of the vision of his administration is to restore the tourists beach to its glory, added that his visit to the facility was to inspect the second section of land acquired by the government to expand the beach.
In his words: “We also have an investor who is willing and capable of transforming this site into a modern tourists center,” and expressed joy that the people are excited about the revival of the abandoned Tourists Beach for several years.
Fubara appealed for the support of the youths and the people to work with the contractor to accomplish the project and avoid the temptation of sabotaging the project as his government is determined to improve the lives of the people.
