In March, 2023, the people of Abia State stepped out to the polls and took a decision that demonstrated a changed narrative of political consciousness in Abia State.

This changed narrative resulted to the victory of Dr. Alex Otti which got the widest democratic endorsement ever recorded in the history of Abia State.

This D-day victory reflected the interests of Abians, from those in the majority bloc, to those in the minority.

In the rave of this victory, one year afterwards, Ndi Ukwa can boldy say, that in Dr. Alex Otti, the time of Ndi Ukwa has come.

The holy Bible made us to understand in Eccl Chapter 3 that in everything, there is a time and a season for everything under the earth. When God’s appointed time comes, the forces of nature will align to the glory of God and to the blessings of mankind.

The election of Dr. Alex Otti is a handwriting on the wall, and Ndi Ukwa must see that there is a new page opened in history where beatitudes and gloriousness have come in abundance for Ukwa land without measures.

The time has come for Ndi Ukwa to kotala sign that the administration of Dr. Alex Otti is a fulfilment of destiny for Ndi Ukwa.

The visionary leadership of Dr. Alex Otti and his commitment to progress are evident in various projects and initiatives that have transformed our beloved state. There are no more fears that Abia Airport project, a long-awaited dream, will finally become a reality under this administration, which, when achieved, will boost the economic growth, enhance connectivity, and create opportunities for our people.

The introduction of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) has brought transparency and efficiency to our state’s financial management. Your efforts to promote the use of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses will revolutionize logistics and transportation in Abia, making it more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The dedication of Dr. Alex Otti to fixing the road network represents a bold action plan that will improve the lives of our citizens, facilitate trade and grow our domestic economy. This is evident in the construction of the Port Harcourt Road, several internal road networks within the state, among others. In fact, the most recent Ohanku road which connects with Ukwa East Local Government is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to the well-being of Ndi Ukwa and Abia South in general.

Notably, the efforts of Dr. Alex Otti, in strengthening the security architecture of the state, has made our Abia a safer place for business and investment. This significant achievements in security has made movement safer along the Ukwa corridors, considering that Ukwa is sitting at the boundaries of Abia state adjoining with Akwa Ibom and Rivers States. These innovative approaches in security infrastructure have significantly robbed off on Ukwa land, reducing crime rates and improved emergency response times.

There is no gainsaying the fact that these achievements have rubbed off positively on Ndi Ukwa anywhere they are. These landmarks achievements and their over-reaching effects on the general wellbeing of Ndi Ukwa makes it clear that one brick of development anywhere in Abia is precursory to general development everywhere in the state.

It is clear however, that in the optics of Dr. Alex Otti’s administration lies a great hope for Ndi Ukwa and only the wise can see it.

Today is the time for Ndi Ukwa to rally round and build support around the pillars of the great vision of Dr. Alex Otti.

This is the time for Ndi Ukwa to shelve their political alliances, dispositions and party affiliations and firmly stand with the man whose agenda has wired development through the nerves of Ukwa land.

Today is the time for Ndi Ukwa to realise that they are in no better place than in the place where Dr. Alex Otti is and the place where there is unending flow of favour, fortunes and good hope.

Today is the right time to tell Ndi Ukwa ‘kotanu sign’ because in Dr. Alex Otti, the time of Ndi Ukwa has come.
