The lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. Esq., has felicitated the former First Lady of Abia State, Deaconess Nkechi Carol Ikpeazu, PhD, on the occasion of her birthday.
Erondu, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Service, described the former First Lady as a woman of exceptional grace, compassion and selfless service, whose contributions to the welfare of the people continue to inspire Abians.
In a release signed by his Spokesman, George Egejuru, and made available to newsmen today, Erondu said Deaconess Ikpeazu had distinguished herself through her humility, kindness and commitment to humanity.
The Abia-born All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain noted that the Nigerian Ambassador to Spain wife’s life reflects faith, courage, compassion and dedication to the service of others, adding that her concern for the less privileged and her efforts to make positive contributions to society remain worthy of commendation.
According to him, Deaconess Nkechi Carol Ikpeazu has continued to demonstrate the virtues of simplicity, discipline, godliness and generosity, while remaining an inspiration to women, families and communities across the state.
The former Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), also acknowledged her role as a supportive wife, mother, mentor and bridge-builder, describing her as a woman whose strength and wisdom have contributed immensely to the growth and success of those around her.
He said, “On this special occasion of your birthday, I celebrate not only your accomplishments but also the beautiful legacy of love, compassion and service that you continue to build. Your humility and concern for humanity are qualities worthy of emulation.”
He prayed God to bless the former First Lady, who is also the President and Founder of Vicar Hope Foundation with long life, sound health, renewed strength, peace and greater grace to continue touching lives and contributing positively to society.
