Lawmaker Erondu Jnr Set to Distribute 2,000 Bags of Fertiliser in Abia South
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abia South Senatorial District, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has unveiled designated distribution centres for the planned distribution of 2,000 bags of 50kg fertiliser to farmers across the six Local Government Areas of the district.
According to Erondu Jnr, the initiative is part of his continued commitment to promoting agricultural development, enhancing food security, and supporting farmers in Abia South.
The forthcoming distribution follows an earlier intervention in which he distributed over 1,200 bags of fertiliser to farmers across the district, a gesture widely applauded for boosting agricultural productivity and supporting rural livelihoods.
To ensure a seamless and orderly distribution process, two centres have been strategically selected in each Local Government Area to enable beneficiaries access the fertiliser from locations closest to them.

He reaffirmed his commitment to empowering farmers and boosting agricultural productivity across the district, stressing that sustained investment in agriculture remains critical to increasing food production, creating economic opportunities, and strengthening food security.
The APC chieftain noted that the latest intervention underscores his resolve to build on previous agricultural support programmes and contribute meaningfully to the welfare of farmers and rural communities across Abia South.
