The lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. Esq., has felicitated with the Chairman, Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria (FFDGN) and former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Dr. Chris Alozie Akomas, on his 66th birthday.
In a statement signed by his spokesman, George Egejuru, and made available to newsmen today, Erondu, who served as Dr. Akomas’s Personal Assistant during his tenure as Deputy Governor, described him as a distinguished statesman, administrator, and political leader whose contributions to public service remain noteworthy.
The former council Chairman of Obingwa LGA, commended the former Federal Commissioner representing Abia State at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) for his commitment to humanity, particularly through his community service in Obingwa, Abia State, and beyond.
The Abia South chieftain of the APC said Dr. Akomas’ strides and legacies remained an inspiration to him and younger generations, noting his continued commitment to public affairs, governance and societal development.
Erondu also acknowledged Akomas’ current leadership of the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria, describing it as another platform through which he continues to contribute to public discourse and national development.
The lawmaker recalled his longstanding relationship with the former deputy governor and acknowledged his influence and contributions to public service in Abia State.
He congratulated Akomas on the occasion of his 66th birthday and prayed God to grant him continued good health, wisdom and many more years of impactful service to humanity and the nation.
