They whispered in the shadows on a cold October night,Rumours swirling, their plot veiled in quiet spite.

In 24 hours, they claimed, our People’s Governor would fall,
Not knowing the spirit of Rivers was rising, tall.

While shadowed figures plotted, tucked away from sight, Former lawmakers hiding, fanning the night.

Their secret meetings, scheming dreams,
Yet the Governor stayed, undeterred, it seems.

As dawn broke on October 30, the hallowed chambers in flames,Our Governor, Sim Fubara, the people’s chosen pride,Went to assess the damage.

But there, waiting in ranks, the police stood tight, Led by D.C. Operations, poised for a fight.
Water splashed, teargas filled the air, Against our Governor! Could this be fair?

I stood beside him, anger in my veins,Defying the intimidation, bearing the pain.

Mindful of bullets, teargas, and the violent display, I went live to the world, showing truth that day.

Appointees, aides — some turned, some stayed,
Even the media, their silence betrayed.

Thinking Fubara’s fate was sealed, they left for the halls,
But my live video exposed it all.

A global story, picked up on screens nationwide,The world saw their plot, their shame, their pride.

But God had a plan; their wicked games failed,
His servant, Sim Fubara, stayed tall, prevailed.
