The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as fake a purported list circulating on social media claiming to contain the names of successful candidates from its recently concluded primary elections.

In a statement issued today (Sunday, June 28, 2026), the party said it had not released any official list of winners and urged members and the general public to disregard the unauthorised publication.

The statement, signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stressed that reports announcing the outcome of the primaries were false and did not emanate from the party.

“The public is hereby advised to disregard any publication or report purporting to announce the outcome of the primaries, as such information is false and unauthorised,” the statement read.

The ruling party explained that successful aspirants would be formally informed through its recognised communication channels before the issuance of Certificates of Return, in line with established procedures.

It added that members, stakeholders and the public should rely only on official APC communication platforms for authentic information on the outcome of the party’s primary elections.

The clarification followed the circulation of an alleged list of primary election winners, which the party said was not authorised by its leadership.
