Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara through the Ministry of Power has introduced electric cars in a bold move to revolutionize transportation and reduce costs for residents.
The initiative promises fuel-free vehicles that charge in five hours, cover up to 80km, and run for days.
Hon. Solomon Abel Eke, Commissioner for Power, highlighted plans for statewide charging stations and partnerships with the Ministry of Transport. “This project will make transportation affordable and efficient,” he said.
Adding that the initiative reflects the Gov. Sim Fubara’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
