The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Isiala Ngwa South has suspended the member representing Isiala-Ngwa South State constituency in Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Hon. Rowland Dennis Chinwendu, over alleged anti-party activities.
The suspension was announced in a communique issued after an executive meeting by the Isiala Ngwa South Executive, Ward 7, on Monday, February 17, 2025. According to the communique, Hon. Chinwendu was found guilty of engaging in anti-party activities, leading to his suspension from the party.
The party executives also stated that they will be closely monitoring all members to ensure compliance with the party’s tenets. Additionally, they expressed confidence in the ward, local government, and state executives of the party.
This development is the latest in a series of challenges facing the Abia State PDP, which has been grappling with internal conflicts and power struggles.
