The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the dismissal of 115 officers as part of its ongoing internal reforms.

In a statement, the security agency disclosed that the dismissals were carried out over a period of time, not in a single action. The DSS also warned the public against dealing with former officers posing as serving personnel.

“As part of ongoing reforms in the Department of State Services, a total of 115 personnel have been dismissed over a period,” the statement read.

The Service reiterated earlier public notices regarding Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, cautioning that some dismissed individuals continue to impersonate DSS officers for fraudulent purposes.

The agency urged citizens to avoid any official transactions with the affected individuals and report suspicious activities to the authorities.
