Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, today (Tuesday, December 30, 2025), attended the burial ceremony of late Mrs. Clarine Umezuruike Kalagbor, the mother of Rt. Hon. Manuchim Umezuruike, who represents Port Harcourt Constituency II in the House of Representatives.
The funeral service took place in Oroworukwo town, Port Harcourt, and was attended by several political leaders, senior government officials, and community stakeholders from across Rivers State.

Governor Fubara led the state delegation and paid glowing tributes to the deceased, describing her passing as a painful loss not only to the family but to the wider community. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to Rt. Hon. Umezuruike and other members of the bereaved family, praying for God’s comfort, strength, and fortitude to bear the loss.

The governor also urged the family to take solace in the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Kalagbor, while reaffirming the support and solidarity of the Rivers State Government during their period of mourning.




Mrs. Clarine Umezuruike Kalagbor was remembered by family members and well-wishers as a devoted mother whose values and guidance left a lasting impact on her children and community.
