In a show of appreciation and honour, the Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has presented a Hilux vehicle to his 2023 Campaign Director-General, Chief Chidiebere Ihenyirimmadu, fondly known as Jato, in celebration of his 60th birth anniversary.
The surprise presentation, which took place amidst jubilation from family, friends, political associates, and community members, was described as a fitting tribute to a man widely revered for his loyalty, leadership, and service to the people of Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State and beyond.
In a release signed by his Media Aide, George Egejuru and made available to newsmen, Erondu Jnr extolled Chief Ihenyirimmadu as a symbol of consistency and steadfastness in Abia’s political landscape.
He noted that the birthday gift was a token of gratitude for years of unwavering dedication and support.
In his words: “Jato is more than a political ally, he is a dependable elder brother and a man whose service and sacrifice have inspired so many,”
“On the occasion of his 60th birthday, it is only fitting that we honour his immense contributions not just with words but with something symbolic of our appreciation.”
He further described the celebrant as an astute politician, seasoned leader, dogged fighter, adding that legacy is key to mentoring the younger generations, building bridges across party lines, and promoting the ideals of democratic governance in Abia State and beyond.
Erondu jnr further prayed for God’s blessings, long life, and good health upon Chief Ihenyirimmadu and his family as they continue in their service to God and humanity.
