The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly Primary Election Committee for Abia State, Barrister Erasmus Cishak, has arrived in the state ahead of the party’s primary elections.
Addressing party members shortly after his arrival in Umuahia, Barrister Cishak assured aspirants and stakeholders that the committee is fully prepared to conduct a free, fair and peaceful primary election across the state.
He stated that the committee would ensure a transparent and credible process capable of reflecting the true wishes of party members, while urging aspirants, delegates and supporters to adhere strictly to the guidelines governing the exercise.
Cishak also called on party faithful to maintain unity and decorum throughout the process, expressing confidence that the primaries would further strengthen internal democracy and position the APC strongly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
