Azubuike Pledges Better Representation for Aba
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. Uzo Azubuike, has pledged to prioritise the welfare, development and unity of the people of Aba if elected.
Azubuike disclosed this recently during a meeting with the foremost socio-cultural group, Umunnabuike, in Aba, where he said he was conversant with the challenges confronting residents of the commercial city.
He stressed the need for unity and collective action among the people to sustain and accelerate the development of Aba.
According to him, his legislative agenda would focus on attracting federal employment opportunities, facilitating development projects and promoting human capital development to improve the livelihoods of residents.
“I am the ideal person for Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency,” Azubuike said, expressing confidence in his capacity and experience to effectively represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
He noted that the people of Aba had demonstrated remarkable capacity to drive economic growth and development, stressing that such progress must be sustained through effective representation, strategic partnerships and purposeful leadership.
The APC candidate urged the people to support the party and remain hopeful, saying the APC had what it takes to advance the interests of residents of Aba North, Aba South and the wider Abia South Senatorial District.
Azubuike also expressed confidence in the legal process concerning the APC Abia South Senatorial primary election, maintaining that Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr. Esq. won the party’s primary and expressing optimism that justice would be served by the court at the appropriate time.
Earlier in his address, the President of Umunnabuike, Elder Uchenna Ahuronye, expressed confidence in Azubuike, citing his past contributions to the development of the area as a reason the group was prepared to partner with him.
Ahuronye said Azubuike’s record of service and representation had endeared him to members of the group, adding that they were committed to supporting his bid to return to the Federal House of Representatives.
He pledged that the group would deploy all resources at its disposal to mobilise support for Azubuike and ensure his election in 2027, enabling him to continue what he described as his good works and effective representation in Abuja.
Contributing, the Vice Chairman of the group, Jude Martins, and its Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman, Elder Sunny Nwosu, also commended Azubuike’s aspiration and called for unity and collective support for candidates capable of delivering meaningful development to the constituency.
They urged members and supporters to remain committed to the group’s objective and work towards ensuring victory for the APC candidate in the 2027 elections.
