Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, have officially tied the knot in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
The couple exchanged vows today, Tuesday August 11, 2026 in an intimate ceremony attended by their five children, marking a new chapter in their relationship, which began about a decade ago.
Ronaldo, 41, confirmed the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of their wedding rings with the caption, “C❤️G.”
A representative for the Portuguese football star also confirmed the union, stating that Ronaldo and Rodríguez were married in a private civil ceremony in Cascais and are now officially husband and wife.
The wedding comes about a year after the couple announced their engagement.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together since 2016 and are parents to two daughters, while Rodríguez has also played a prominent role in raising Ronaldo’s other children.
