In a significant step towards tackling youth unemployment and strengthening human capital, the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)—a 12-month paid internship scheme—has been launched by the Federal Government of Nigeria. According to the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Hadeja, each selected fellow will receive a stipend of ₦150,000 per month while being placed in public and private sector organisations.

The programme, aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to provide hands-on training and mentorship for fresh graduates to bridge unemployment gaps and boost productivity. It is co-funded by the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Participants will gain workplace experience across sectors, with the potential for full-time employment, entrepreneurial ventures or other career pathways at the end of the internship. Interested and eligible candidates may apply via the official portal: https://www.njfp.ng/apply
