The Chairman of the House Committee on Public Service Matters in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has congratulated the 2023 Abia State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Media Aide, George Egejuru, and made available to journalists today, the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency described Chief Ahiwe as a committed community leader and a true democrat with a lasting impact at the grassroots level.
Erondu Jnr noted that Chief Ahiwe’s political journey and leadership style have continued to inspire younger generations, particularly through his emphasis on service, inclusiveness and community development.
The former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area also applauded Ahiwe for his dedication to the growth of Abia State and his consistent support for emerging leaders.
The lawmaker further acknowledged Ahiwe’s contributions to strengthening democratic values and political participation within the state, describing him as a stabilising force whose experience and counsel remain invaluable.
Erondu Jnr prayed for God Almighty to grant Chief Ahiwe many more years in good health, wisdom and strength, enabling him to continue serving God, his community and humanity at large.
