A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State and member representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr., has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Abia State and Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, on his 62nd birthday.
Erondu, a former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area, in a birthday message he personally signed and made available to newsmen today, described the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate Ikpeazu’s life, public service and contributions to the development of Abia State and Nigeria.
The Uhie-born legislator commended the former governor for his years of service to Abia State, noting that his birthday offered an opportunity to reflect on his political journey and continued service to the country in a diplomatic capacity.
The legal practitioner also expressed optimism that Ikpeazu’s diplomatic assignment would contribute to strengthening relations between Nigeria and Spain, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, education and cultural exchange.
He wished the Ambassador good health, wisdom, peace and greater accomplishments as he continues to represent Nigeria in Spain.
Erondu further prayed for God’s continued guidance and protection for the former governor, wishing him many more fruitful years of service to humanity and the nation.
