The Action Peoples Party (APP) has won 22 chairmanship seats out of 23 in the Rivers State Local Government polls.
The Chief Election Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RISIEC), Justice Adolphus Enebeli, announced this today in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Declaring the results, Enebili also revealed that said Etche LGA is pending as the results collation is ongoing.
He assured that the results for Etche LGA will be declared alongside that of the 319 councillorship seats at a later.
Rivers State LGA Chairmen-Elect include:
1. Vincent Reuben Obu – Abua/Odual, Chibudom Ezu –
2. Mr Iyekor Ikporo – Ahoada-West,
3. Mrs. Tonye Oniyide – Akuku-Toru,
4. Lazarus Gogote Nteogwuile – Andoni,
5. Dr. Sule Amachree – Asari-Toru,
6. Dame Anengi Barasua – Bonny,
7. Dr. Harry Agiriye – Degema,
8. Chief Brain Gokpa – Eleme,
9. David Omereji – Emohua.

11. Isreal Abosi – Ikwerre,
12. Martins Nwigbo – Khana,
13. Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo – Obio/Akpor,
