Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie has apologised to Nigerians over her penalty miss that led to their defeat to England at the Women’s World Cup
She disclosed this through her verified Social Media Handle today, stating; “Very disappointing to have lost through penalty and even more disappointing not to have converted mine”.
Nigeria failed to advance to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 quarter-finals after they lost to England following a dramatic penalty shoot-out over England. England won 4 -2 on penalties.
