President Bola Tinubu ,has officially swore in Mrs.Esther Walson -Jack as the new head of service of the Federation .
The swearing in ceremony took place on at the presidential Villa in Abuja, on Monday, while Yemi -Esan bows out.
As the valedictory session honouring the outgoing Head of service Dr. Yemi-Esan who was appointed as the acting head of service of the federation by the former president of Nigeria, Muhammaduu Buhari on 18th September 2019.
She replaced the suspended Winifred Ekanem Oyo-lta.
In his massage of farewell to the outgoing head of service ,president Tinubu acknowledged the meaningful contributions of the services Dr. Esan offered to the federal civil service,However, Tinubu, noted that Walson -Jack has “big shoes to fill” as she takes over the mantle of leadership in civil service.
He expressed conference in her ability to lead the civil service and prayed for divine guidance to help her navigate the challenges ahead.
In her farewell message from the civil service Yemi-Esan “I thank God for the opportunity to serve my country, I never dreamt to become the head of service of the federation, if not the hand of God Who made it. I also want to thank the former president Muhammadu Buhari and president Bola Tinubu who made my work easier for me.
“My transformative Permanent Secretaries are not left out as they are dedicated and hardworking to give me the needed support”.
