The member representing Ukwa-East State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lewis Chinaemerem Obianyi, has congratulated his predecessor, Hon. Taribo Paul, on his appointment as the Ukwa-East State Constituency Coordinator in the Abia State Labour Party Campaign Council.
Taribo, who previously represented Ukwa-East State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, was appointed to the position by the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, as part of the party’s campaign structure for the 2027 general elections.
In his congratulatory message, Obianyi described the appointment as a recognition of Taribo’s experience, commitment and contributions to the development of Ukwa-East and the state.
He expressed confidence that the former lawmaker would bring his experience and knowledge of the constituency to bear in his new responsibility, while urging him to work with party leaders, members and stakeholders to promote effective coordination within the constituency.
Obianyi also called for unity, cooperation and constructive engagement among stakeholders, noting that collective efforts would be important to the success of the campaign council.
He wished Taribo a successful tenure in the new assignment and prayed for wisdom and strength as he takes on the responsibility.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to working with relevant stakeholders towards the development of Ukwa-East and the state at large.
