Relief As Abia Lawmaker, Erondu Jnr, Kick-starts Free JAMB Registration for Indigent Students
Worried by the heightened economic hardship in Nigeria, the Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has started free JAMB/UTME registration for indigent students in his constituency.
In a release, signed by his Spokesperson, George Egejuru and made available to newsmen, the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State constituency in ABHA, lamented that most intelligent students in his constituency, used to miss opportunities of gaining admission into higher institutions of learning due to lack of fund.
This, he said, informed his decision to intervene and invest in their education as well as other Human Capital Development programmes.
The founder, Igodo Igwe foundation, urged the beneficiaries of his 2025 free JAMB registration to make utmost use of this support platform to realize their chosen academic dreams in institutions of higher learning.
The Uhie-born legislator thanked his constituents for their support and steadfastness, adding that he would continue to use everything within his disposal to attract democracy dividends to his people.
Igodo Igwe free JAMB/UTME registration is an annual intervention exercise from the Abia lawmaker, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr; designed to help the indigent students in his Constituency.
The 2025 edition would also take place at Osusu Amaukwa Primary School, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State.
