Anyasọ Commends Gov. Otti for Transformative Infrastructure Strides in Abia
The Leader of the Ofuji Movement and former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Dr. Chima Desmond Anyasọ, has applauded Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal across the state.
Dr. Anyasọ’s commendation followed the commissioning of several landmark projects by Governor Otti, including the reconstructed Port Harcourt Road and Obohia Road in Aba, as well as the remodeled Michael Okpara Auditorium in Umuahia.
Members of the Ofuji Movement joined other residents in large numbers at the ceremonies in Aba and Umuahia, reflecting widespread support for the governor’s developmental agenda.
In his goodwill message, Dr. Anyasọ lauded Governor Otti for “keeping faith with the promises of a New Abia,” noting that the administration’s focus on critical infrastructure is easing the burden on residents and restoring public confidence in government.
He emphasized that the ongoing reconstruction and retrofitting of roads and public facilities would boost transportation, commerce, and overall economic activity in the state.
“The continuation of these blueprint projects will stimulate economic growth in Abia State, attract investments, and create job opportunities for our people,” Dr. Anyasọ stated.
He further praised the governor’s strategic vision for sustainable development, describing it as a model for repositioning Abia as a hub of innovation and prosperity in the South-East and beyond.
Dr. Anyasọ reaffirmed that the Ofuji Movement remains steadfast in supporting all initiatives that promote good governance and enhance the welfare of Abians.
