As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence anniversary, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives has congratulated citizens while reaffirming his dedication to national service and development.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen today, the lawmaker described the nation’s journey since 1960 as one marked by challenges but defined by strength, resilience, and hope. He urged Nigerians to reflect on the sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers and the collective efforts that have sustained the pursuit of nation-building.
Reiterating his commitment to the people, he expressed confidence that through the collaborative efforts of the 10th House of Representatives and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria will continue on the path of growth and global relevance.
“On this historic day, let us rekindle our hope, renew our commitment, and realign ourselves to building a Nigeria that truly reflects our dreams and aspirations,” he said.
He wished Nigerians a happy 65th Independence anniversary and prayed for a future anchored on unity, equity, and justice.
