The Chairman and CEO of Caades Group, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, has affirmed that Abia State is now in capable hands under the leadership of Governor Alex Chioma Otti.

Speaking during a press conference in his hometown, Igbere, Bende Local Government Area (LGA) yesterday, Dr. Anyaso, who is also the Founder of the Ahuoma Anyaso Education Foundation, commended Governor Otti for spearheading what he described as an infrastructural revolution across the state.

The 2023 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant criticized past administrations for the infrastructural deficit in the state and applauded Governor Otti for demonstrating the political will to address the long-standing challenges.

According to the Abia-born technocrat, the people of Abia are now enjoying the true dividends of democracy, having been given the opportunity to freely elect their leader for the first time.

Addressing why he has not criticized Governor Otti’s administration, Dr. Anyaso explained that he shares a common vision with the governor, which is why he has chosen to support him in delivering good governance.

He described Governor Otti as a focused and people-centric leader, assuring Abians that their governor would not let them down.

Dr. Anyaso also appealed to the state government to reconstruct the Okafia-Ozuitem-Bende road, noting that it would ease the pressure on the recently rebuilt Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Akara-Igbere road.

As a chieftain of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), he emphasized that politics should be seen as a call to selfless service, not an avenue for personal gain. He also urged the administration of President Bola Tinubu to ensure that all political parties are allowed to coexist and thrive at the national level.

Dr. Anyaso, who was recently honored as the 2024 Vanguard Real Estate Icon, expressed gratitude to Abians for their continued prayers and support for Governor Otti, and wished everyone a memorable Easter celebration.
