The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the successful upload of all its candidates for the 2027 general elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP).
In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, said the APC submitted a total of 471 candidates, comprising its presidential and vice-presidential ticket, 109 senatorial candidates, and 360 House of Representatives candidates.
Describing the development as a major milestone, Yilwatda congratulated the party’s candidates, leaders and members on the successful completion of the nomination process.
“With this milestone achieved, our focus now shifts to mobilisation and preparations for a successful campaign and decisive victory at the polls,” he said.
The APC said the successful upload underscores its readiness for the 2027 general elections as preparations for the nationwide campaign gather momentum.
